GM India has been one of the first automakers who have taken the green initiative in India. Chevrolet had launched the Optra CNG, then alternative fuel variant of the Spark. Recently, they had launched the Chevrolet Aveo CNG.
Now, the American auto giant plans to launch the LPG variant of the Beat in India by the end of 2010. The Beat LPG is currently in the final testing stage in the Indian conditions.
