So when you do not need the full Laptop because of the inconvenience of carrying the excess weight and size of the laptop, you can always detach the Tablet and carry it along with you. There was quite a crowd to get a first look at this device
The company declared that this device is still not ready for the commercial market. It is expected to be released at June/July 2011 with price under $1,000
The interesting feature of the IdeaPad is the change of operating system when you toggle between laptop and Tablet. The laptop has a window based operating system while the tablet runs on a version of Android operating system. Considering the huge popularity of Android Operating system based Tablets, It is a good idea to power the Tablet by Android Operating system.
This device was ogled and touched by many visitors to the gallery to such an extent that its bauble was filled with fingerprints. The screen fill more like the iPad’s interface when touched. The tablet weighs 1.58 lb and is made from a combination of aluminium and glass.
It is highly probable that Lenovo will further reduce the weight of the Tablet by the release date. The launch of the IdeaPad would greatly increase the reputation of the company.
The most important thing that can make Ideapad U1 a bestseller is that it offers the consumers undecided whether to buy a Tablet or a Laptop a choice to buy them both.
